Because Red Wing uses many different constructions, we inspect each pair before recommending a repair.
Depending on the boot and how it will be used, we may recommend a Vibram 4014 wedge sole, a Vibram 100 lug sole, or another suitable option from our Vibram sole guide. Our goal is a solid, practical rebuild that fits the boot and gives the customer dependable wear.

Do you resole the whitish soles on Red Wing Classic Moc boots, and how long does it take?
Yes. We regularly stock Vibram 4014 soles in natural off-white and black, with sizes available up to size 16. We usually promise about one week for this work, but we can often finish sooner if you need the boots back quickly. Let us know when you bring them in.
Can you resole Red Wing Supersole work boots?
The original Red Wing Supersole is proprietary, so only Red Wing can provide that exact sole. We can often replace a worn Supersole with a different Vibram option when the boot is otherwise repairable. Common choices include the black Vibram 4014 and the Vibram 100 lug sole.
